  I called earlier in the week to make a reservation for a party of 30. I got to the restaurant and was seated at an area set for 15. When called to the attention of the "Head of House" he was rude and condescending. Instead of saying "oh I'm sorry, let's fix this" he said "I'm sorry this is what I have, you can't have any more tables" When I asked to speak to the manager that I made the reservation with, he was very kind and apologized for the mistake. The other manager was completely rude. Our party spent over $1000 plus tip... we all had food and beer... "Mr In Charge" needs to learn some customer service skills... he in the end gave us a folding plastic table, but not without attitude and slick remarks. We were seated in the atrium where we were told the other tables were taken. We were there for 3 hours and only one of the 5 other tables in there ever got seated... ridiculous. I will think twice before recommending you for large parties.

  If you're looking for the best place in Topeka to eat out, look no further. We've tried almost every restaurant in town, and we always agree that Blind Tiger is our favorite. We really despise all the chain restaurants in town, so we try to support locally-owned restaurants, but Blind Tiger makes it easy to do so. Their food rarely disappoints, and you get huge helpings for a low cost. I am guessing most of their profit comes from their beer sales, which are about $4/pint so nothing too expensive there either. Their beer selection is fantastic, featuring a wide-range of flavors brewed in-house. Overall, the ambiance/value/taste is the best in town.

  Decent food. Great bar. Excellent local beers.
  Pleasant wait staff. Busy most evenings.
  Favorite of the locals.
  The blackened salmon and the barbecue brisket are two excellent dishes.
